The Bridal Suite

Creating & capturing beauty on the wedding day.

An early website I designed for a friend’s wedding hair and makeup collective in Boston. It never launched, so years later I redesigned it. The original was a fixed-width page with a plum header and photo lightboxes. The new version keeps its spirit (the plum, the pink, the script “Bridal” in the logo, the photo-album frames) and rebuilds it as an editorial one-page site: an EB Garamond and Hanken Grotesk type pairing, a style book that switches between makeup and hair, clear packages, and a booking form. I also added a small tool brides actually need: enter the first-look time and party size, and it counts back to when the artists should start. The artists’ names and all contact details are fictional.
